Conclusion

Small ongoing positive changes have yielded significant improvements in the scanning duration and scheduling workflow of urologic MRI protocols at our institution, but further improvements need to be applied to the duration of prepping time and the writing process of the radiological report. Sustainable success can occur when the teams stay true to lean principles and engaged leaders who empower team members using timely data to drive decision-making.
