The mean overall arterial phase image quality scores for LCIC CT and HCIC CT were 4.83 ± 0.44 and 4.77 ± 0.45, respectively, demonstrating noninferiority (difference: 0.088; 95% CI, 0.002 to 0.175) (Table 1 and figure 1). The conspicuity of the hepatic artery was 4.77 ± 0.47 for LCIC CT and 4.75 ± 0.52 for HCIC CT (p = 0.710). The contrast-to-noise ratio of the aorta was significantly different between LCIC CT and HCIC CT (68.14 ± 14.1 vs. 62.57 ± 18.05, p = 0.010), although the signal-to-noise ratio of the liver was not significantly different (68.14 ± 11.07 vs. 66.69 ± 8.26, p = 0.456). The AUC of the diagnosis was not significantly different between LCIC CT and HCIC CT (0.829 vs. 0.727, p = 0.456). The cut-off value for the amount of iodine per kg that showed an overall image quality score of 5 on the arterial phase was 487 mg I/kg (Figure 2).
