Methods and materials

Data from 124 participants were analyzed in the study, including 79 patients with HCM, 21 with LVH due to hypertension, and 22 healthy controls (CT). CMR imaging was performed using a 1.5T Vantage ExelArt scanner (Toshiba), with cine imaging in short-axis, two-chamber and four-chamber long-axis views. Strain analysis included longitudinal, circumferential, and radial strain measurements in both 2D and 3D formats. Post-processing was performed using commercially available specialized software. Standard statistical methods were employed to analyze the data, with a conventional threshold of p-values less than 0.05 considered to indicate statistically significant differences between the groups.
