Overall, CMR-derived 2D and 3D strain parameters, particularly radial and longitudinal strain, can effectively differentiate between hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy. These results suggest that CMR strain imaging could play a crucial role in clinical decision-making. Further research is necessary to explore the full potential of strain imaging in enhancing diagnostic accuracy and improving patient management.
