Conclusion

Abdominal pseudoaneurysms represent high-risk vascular lesions that require prompt, accurate diagnosis and intervention. Additionally, the accurate differentiation of pseudoaneurysms from other vascular pathologies is crucial and requires cautious review of imaging findings. A multidisciplinary approach, with radiologists at the forefront serving as key clinical leaders, is essential. Interventional radiologists play a pivotal role throughout the care pathway - from initial diagnostic interpretation to definitive endovascular treatment. Their expertise is essential for the precise characterization of pseudoaneurysms and strategic planning of endovascular approaches based on lesion characteristics. Early diagnosis through advanced imaging techniques, coupled with minimally invasive IR interventions, has revolutionized treatment, reducing morbidity and mortality while improving patient outcomes.
