CO₂ insufflation during CT colonography is associated with earlier and stronger mesenteric venous enhancement, particularly in the IMV. Early scanning combined with careful control of insufflation volume optimizes vascular visualization and may enhance the diagnostic and preoperative utility of CT colonography.
