1. Of the 59 cases where the first reader requested a recall, 48 (81%) were downgraded to no-recall following arbitration.
2. Among the 105 cases the first reader reported as no-recall, arbitration recalled 50 cases (47%).
3. Of these, 26 patients underwent further biopsies with 12 reported as benign.
4. In the remaining 14 cases, 9 were diagnosed as malignant and 5 as B3 (unknown malignant potential) – 13% detection rate.
5. The average delay from first read to arbitration was 12.7 days.
