Purpose We aimed to assess the predictive utility of the updated 2024 Fleischner Society Glossary classification of pulmonary subsolid nodules (SSNs) for lung cancer epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation status and patient outcomes.
Read more Methods and materials We included patients with SSNs who underwent surgical resection for lung adenocarcinoma or precursor glandular lesions from February 2005 to December 2018. SSNs were reclassified into "simple" and "complex" categories, which differed from the previous classification of pure ground-glass and part-solid nodules.
