Conclusion

UDFF and auto-pSWE measured using the DAX probe represent promising ultrasound-based, quantitative, and noninvasive biomarkers for detecting hepatosteatosis and fibrosis, as well as for predicting steatohepatitis in clinical practice.

These results highlight the complex interplay between liver stiffness, fat content, and histopathological activity, underscoring the need for comprehensive diagnostic approaches in MASLD and steatohepatitis evaluation.
