Focal lesions of the fingers are a frequent clinical complaint and represent a diagnostic challenge due to the small size, superficial location, and wide histopathological spectrum of possible entities. Accurate characterization is essential to guide management, avoid unnecessary invasive procedures, and promptly identify lesions requiring surgical or oncologic referral.
The aim of this study is to provide, through a pictorial review of diverse cases from our institution, a visual guide for the diagnosis and differentiation of the most clinically relevant focal finger lesions using High-Frequency Ultrasound.
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the value of high-frequency ultrasound as a first-line imaging modality in the evaluation of focal finger lesions.
