Of the 55 patients, 43 (78.2%) showed reduced left ventricular circumferential strain values and 46 (83.6%) showed reduced left ventricular radial strain values, both with statistical significance (p-value 0.0087 for LV circumferential strain and p-value 0.0041 for LV radial strain, respectively) compared to the corresponding strain values in healthy controls. 45 patients (81.8%) showed reduced left ventricular longitudinal strain values compared to the LV longitudinal strain values of the healthy controls, without statistical significance (p-value 0.0832).
