Pregnancy – a physiological state, where physicians take care of two lives at the same time. Hence, choosing the proper radiological investigation is difficult.
This article aims to:
- dispel common misconceptions,
- give a clear overview of the benefits and drawbacks of each radiological study, and
- present the diagnostic algorithms for the most common pregnancy-associated pathologies.
