PCD-CT with increased spatial resolution and better signal-to-noise radio is a promising tool in systematic assessment of conductive hearing loss however for an appropriate interpretation, adequate protocol, acquisition and reconstruction is essential. Given the low dose  of the imaging, the PCD-CT is favorable in pediatric use.
