In Dynamic Contrast Magnetic Resonance Lymphangiography (DCMRL), lymph vessels are selectively contrasted and displayed in their anatomical context. This allows visualization of their anatomy and changes in various diseases, as well as changes in the flow of lymph.
These changes can lead to chylothorax, pericardial effusion, chyluria and protein-losing enteropathy. The present study explored the potential of DCMRL to significantly influence subsequent treatment decisions.
