Patients:
The course of 10 consecutive patients aged 3 months to 24 years who underwent lymphangiography for different indications is examined.The diseases include chylothorax, chylopericardium, plastic bronchitis, protein-losing enteropathy, chyluria.
Procedure:A 25-gauge needle is inserted into the central portion of an inguinal lymph node on each side under US guidance. Gadolinium contrast agent is applied to the lymph nodes and contrast flow is visualized on MRI using TWIST and FLASH sequences with dynamic temporal and spatial resolution.
