Conclusion

Patient age, CEM findings, and BI-RADS assessment of CEM images may be useful to predict a histological outcome of malignancy after CEM-guided biopsies and therefore in defining its clinical indications. Investigations on larger cohort of cases should be conducted to further investigate the possible role of clinical risk factors and build predictive models to be used as clinical decision tools.
