Extrauterine leiomyomatosis is a rare disorder which typically presents itself in premenopausal women with a history of hysterectomy or myomectomy. Although the definitive diagnosis is histopathological, radiologists must be familiar with the imaging characteristics of this entity in order to include it in the differential diagnosis with other pathologies and, in some cases, avoid invasive diagnostic techniques and unnecessary treatment.
