This educational study offers a thorough overview of internal hernias, highlighting their anatomical basis, aetiological classification, and characteristic CT findings. By integrating literature review with illustrative cases from our institutional archive, the study aims to improve radiologists’ diagnostic accuracy of this frequently overlooked condition. Despite the main limitation being the absence of complementary imaging modalities such as MRI, the material provides valuable conceptual and visual resources for clinical practice.
