Although ureterolithiasis is the most frequent and urothelial carcinoma the most important differential diagnosis for ureteral lesions, different entities may involve the ureter. We review imaging findings, with clues to interpretation, and provide pathologic correlation. We will highlight how pathologic correlation informs imaging interpretation.
