Results:30 patients (mean age, 53 years ± 9 [SD]; 23 male) with TAAD were evaluated: 19 with acute, five with subacute, and six chronic participants. Macrophages, monocytes, activated-DC, NKT cells and CD56+dim NK cells strongly correlated with histologic findings (r = 0.93; P < .001). The agreement between CTA and histologic findings for inflammatory cell quantification was excellent (ICC, 0.91; P < .001).Excellent interobserver repeatability was found for inflammatory cell and aortic vessel tissue volume measurements, with no significant differences between readers.
