Findings and procedure details

We retrospectively analyzed the CT results of 81 patients with micrognathia. Micrognathia was detected in 37 patients (45.67%) under the age of 1 year, in 21 patients (25.93%) aged 2 to 5 years, and in 23 patients (28.40%) aged 5 years and older.

From our observations, micrognathia was associated with syndromic pathologies: Treacher Collins–Franceschetti syndrome was found in 5 patients (6%), Goldenhar syndrome in 2 patients (2%), and Robin sequence in 5 patients (6%).
