Conclusion

Cervical cancer represents a significant global health challenge, necessitating comprehensive strategies for prevention, early detection, and multidisciplinary management.

The role of imaging is not only limited to diagnosis and staging but also encompasses disease assessment and prognostication.

Due to its excellent soft tissue contrast and ability to determine the local extent of the primary tumor, MRI is the imaging modality of choice for initial staging, treatment response evaluation, detection of tumor recurrence, and complications of cervical cancer.

The precision offered by MRI staging significantly enhances the accuracy of cervical cancer staging, facilitating more personalized and effective treatment approaches.
