The findings of this review highlight the role of sonographers in remote healthcare settings and the transformative impact of POCUS on diagnostic processes and patient care. The review also underscores the importance of effective educational strategies and the urgent need for the establishment of standardized training programs for sonographers across Europe. These elements are critical in developing the skills and capabilities of radiographers and sonographers, thereby ensuring consistent and high-quality care and promoting equitable healthcare access throughout European countries.
