This educational presentation aims to offer an iconographic review of the important anatomical considerations and imaging features from CT scans of the temporal bones that are vital for cochlear implant candidacy. By understanding these elements, radiologists can provide crucial information that enhances surgical planning and optimizes outcomes for patients undergoing cochlear implantation. The presentation will focus on key anatomical structures, including the cochlea, cochlear nerve, and semicircular canals, as well as identifying potential contraindications such as ossifications or anomalies that may affect the success of the procedure.
