Purpose

Primary Objective

  • To determine the diagnostic accuracy of quantitative Diffusion and Perfusion MRI parameters in the characterisation, staging, and grading of endometrial carcinoma (EC) and validate them with histopathology as the gold standard.

Secondary Objectives

  • To compare results of T2WI, quantitative Diffusion, and Perfusion MRI in preoperative staging of EC (in predicting deep myometrial invasion, cervical stromal invasion, & lymph node metastasis).
  • To investigate the relationship between various MRI parameters and the type of tumour-associated inflammatory infiltrate and MVD (microvessel density) using CD34 on HPE.
