Background

Acute scrotum is a time-critical urological emergency characterised by sudden pain, swelling, and erythema. As clinical findings are often non-specific, Doppler ultrasound is the first-line modality, enabling rapid assessment of testicular morphology, perfusion, and differentiation between non-ischaemic and ischaemic causes.
