The intraobserver agreement for the transition of synovitis in the JIA patients in our study was almost perfect, and the interobserver agreement was substantial. Ultrasonography detected more synovitis than physical examination. A higher prevalence of clinical findings was demonstrated in higher degrees of synovitis.
