The aim of this presentation is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the CBCT imaging technique, highlighting its advantages and disadvantages in comparison to other imaging studies.
We will also explore the main protocols used to study the temporal bone using CBCT, and demonstrate how to map key bony structures of the inner and outer ear.
Additionally, the presentation will delve into common bony pathologies affecting the ear, using real clinical cases to illustrate the practical applications of CBCT in diagnosing and managing these conditions.
