Narrow resection margins (NRM) are often closely associated with early recurrence (ER) of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) following resection[1-3]. This study aims to evaluate the role of whole-tumor histogram analysis derived from spectral CT iodine maps[4] in predicting ER (< 2 years) in NRM-HCC.
