Purpose or learning objective

The daily mammography screening program operates under high pressure, handling numerous patients, mostly healthy women.

While internal detector calibration occurs at startup, an external, quick, and reliable daily quality control (QC) is crucial to ensure equipment performance before screening [1].

This work highlights the five years experience of implementation and improvement of Dosstat QC software [2] with automatic homogeneity analysis for mammography at a Regional hospital in Jönköping County, Sweden.
