The new glossory of terms of Fleischner Society provides new definition ofpulmonary nodule. It precises how to caracterise and report nodules intendingto standardize description and thereby to facilitate communication betweenexperts.Radiologists should acknowledge and refer to this consensus proposal.
The treatment of an individual with a pulmonary nodule should be guided by the probability that the nodule is malignant and based on Fleischner Society recommendations of 2017.
