Conclusion

In situations with limited access to PET-CT, WB-DWI can be a powerful method for detecting metastases.Due to its high sensitivity, the ability to visualize the entire body, and the absence of radiation exposure, this method can be used as an alternative or complement to CT in oncological diagnosis, especially for long-term patient monitoring. At the same time, the method requires further research to optimize protocols, increase specificity, and expand its application in various cancer scenarios.
