Radiology plays a crucial role in the evaluation and diagnosis of bowel obstruction in neonates.
A structured imaging approach to neonatal bowel obstruction is based on an initial evaluation using an abdominal radiograph, followed by the appropriate use of ultrasound and contrast studies of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract.
