Background

Unilateral transradiancy in chest radiography refers to the darker appearance of one side of the X-ray image due to increased transmission of X-rays.

A systematic "outside-in", can be helpful: first considering chest wall abnormalities, then pleural-based conditions, parenchymal changes and finally diaphragmatic changes.
