Unilateral increased hemithoracic transradiancy encompasses a wide spectrum of differential diagnoses. Accurate identification of the underlying cause requires careful evaluation by radiologists to ensure appropriate diagnosis and subsequent management. We have created an approach to the evaluation of a transradiant hemithorax through the use of a flowchart (Fig 10)
