Conclusion

Despite its limitations, lung MRI holds great potential as a radiation-free alternative to CT, offering superior soft-tissue contrast and functional imaging capabilities. Continued advancements in MRI technology may further enhance its role in the comprehensive assessment of pediatric thoracic diseases.
