Learning objectives

Until now, preoperative staging of solid renal tumors was performed by percutaneous biopsy.

Recently, research teams have demonstrated the potential interest of imaging to non-invasively characterize different subtypes of renal tumors.

Specifically, in this paper we will discuss how computed tomography (CT) with dynamic contarste and multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) are used for this purpose.
