Conclusion

CT and MRI studies are essential for the detection, noninvasive characterization, treatment planning and post-treatment surveillance of renal masses.

Optimized CT and MRI imaging protocols can complement each other and allow analysis of image characteristics, their differential diagnosis, and the application of important diagnostic algorithms to predict the risk of clear cell renal disease.
