APT imaging holds significant potential to improve MS diagnosis by providing molecular-level insights into tissue changes. By distinguishing signal intensity differences among demyelinating lesions, vascular WMH, and healthy WM, APT enhances diagnostic precision. While promising, further research is necessary to standardize imaging protocols, refine diagnostic thresholds, and integrate APT into clinical workflows. These advancements will pave the way for more personalized treatment strategies and better patient outcomes in MS management.
