Conclusion

The new FIGO 2023 classification establishes histological and molecular criteria as fundamental for the staging of endometrial carcinoma confined to the uterus.

However, MRI remains essential in both localized and advanced stages of the disease. Its value lies not only in identifying prognostic factors that may alter tumor staging but also in detecting elements that influence surgical or medical treatment strategies.

In this context, DWI sequences are a key tool for accurately detecting and classifying these factors.
