Conclusion

This study confirmed the high diagnostic and clinical value of prostate MRI, underscored by increasing standardization and acceptance in urological practice. However, the adoption of the technique is hindered by inadequate reimbursement, insufficient interdisciplinary collaboration, and limited access outside major centers. Efforts to expand training programs, improve reimbursement policies, and enhance inter-professional communication are crucial to addressing these barriers and optimizing the diagnostic chain.

Key Recommendations:

  • Expand professional training for radiologists and urologists.
  • Improve reimbursement frameworks to incentivize adoption.
  • Foster interdisciplinary discussions to enhance clinical feedback and decision-making.
