A PICC is a long, flexible catheter that serves as a reliable venous access for infusion and blood sampling. While the procedure for inserting a PICC is generally safe, mastery of insertion technique, including ultrasound (US)-guided puncture, is essential to prevent complications related to the insertion process.
It is crucial to note that PICC occlusion can occur frequently without proper care. This exhibit shares skills related to PICC, cultivated from the experience of our specialized ‘PICC team’.
